The Office may be missing Steve Carell , but Steve Carell is certainly not missing The Office ! The actor has just signed up for the film Lunatics , which is an adaptation of the forthcoming novel written by Dave Barry and Alan Zweibel , and focuses on two New Jersey dads whose feuding at their kids’ soccer games ultimately leads to some serious chaos! The original authors will be penning the screenplay, and Carell will apparently play one of the leads, a pet store owner who referees the games on Sundays! Oh man! This sounds like it has the potential to be absolutely HIGHlarious! We’re definitely going to check it out! What do U think?? Does Lunatics sound good to U

And so close to the World Cup, too! David Beckham was injured during a game while on loan with AC Milan, breaking his tendon while he trapped a pass with his left foot! The soccer stud headed off to Finland for surgery today on his Achilles’ Tendon by a specialist and now it’s highly unlikely he’ll be the first English player to appear in the World Cup four times.
