Okay, so it’s not technically meant to be the male version of Sex & The City , but Entourage creator Doug Ellin’s new pilot is about “a group of male friends in Gotham who’ve just hit 40.” According to Ellin, his show which is tentatively titled 40 will revolve around “men dealing with marriage and friendships.” It will focus on “four friends who grew up together facing different situations in their personal and professional lives.” Yeah…kind of sounds like Guys & The City to us. Entourage / 27 Dresses actor Edward Burns is attached to star in the series as male Carrie Bradshaw “a Wall Street maven with a strong pedigree who endures major upheaval when the bank where he worked for 20 years collapses.” Here’s what Ellin had to say about the show: “It’s something I’ve lived with my friends. People were thinking that 40 is the new 20 and their life is all set — and all of a sudden they woke up one day and had no money.” We’re intrigued
