Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy may not be selling too well in stores…but the mag sold VERY well with advertisers! According to MagazineRadar , Lindsay’s issue of Playboy sold 55% more ad pages than the same issue one year before, which resulted in a grand total of 49 ad pages being purchased in the mag! The only other issue of Playboy in recent years that sold more ad pages was Kim Kardashian’s 2007 issue of the mag, in which 56.9 ad pages were purchased! Wowsa! Maybe Kim and Lindsay should do a Playboy spread together! Now THAT magazine would sell! What do U think? Would U place ads for UR company in a magazine featuring nekkid pics of LiLo??? Excellent! Maybe now he’ll extend his stay at the Broadhurt! Last week, Hugh Jackman’s one man show opened on Broadway to some KILLER reviews, and the hype around the show has grown so much, that the first week sales for the show are through the roof! In it’s opening week, which included SEVERAL press-comped performances and and invite-only-ish opening night, Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway grossed a hefty $1,247,650! That’s the second time the Boy from Oz has set a new house record at the Broadhurst Theatre. Whoop! Maybe this limited residency could stand to go on another 3 or 4 days weeks years??

It looks like Andy is about to have some NEW toys to play with… Okay, so Andy’s all grown up and probably won’t want any Cars 2 toys, but Disney seems to think A LOT of kids WILL want those toys, and according to retail projections the toys will EXCEED Toy Story 3 sales, making the franchise “the largest merchandise program in licensing industry history.” Total retail sales for the Cars franchise have ALREADY crossed the $10 billion mark, so it won’t surprise us at all if Toy Story 3 retail sales get trumped by Cars 2 . What would REALLY be a shocker is if there was all of a sudden a Ratatouille resurgence, and THAT franchise ended up with higher retail sales than both the Toy Story AND Cars franchises! LOLz! Team Cars ? Team Toy Story ?
