The magic touch of the studded glove never fails! It was a winning Tuesday night for FOX as the network topped in the ratings, thanks to the heavily promoted (and totally enjoyable) Michael Jackson episode of Glee ! The series saw a nice rise in numbers, scoring a a 3.6 among adults 18-49 and matched their current season high in total viewers: 9 million Gleeks! Nice! Of course, New Girl lent a hand in the boost as well, rising a tenth of a point for a 3.5 in the demo to tip the scales just that much more in the networks favor! Solid! Here’s hoping Ricky Martin can do the same for you guys next week!

We knew Tuesday night ratings would be weird due to Obama’s State of the Union Address …but wow! Last night, Fox was #1 in the ratings AGAIN thanks to an American Idol repeat, which landed 9.5 million total viewers and a 3.3 rating in the adults 18-49 demo. Impressive! As for the State of the Union Address, it brought in 5.3 million viewers and a 1.9 for Fox. CBS couldn’t beat Fox for the night overall, but it DID have the most watched show! An NCIS repeat brought in 12.3 million viewers, and a 2.0 rating

Not a HUGE shocker, given how successful the show was in its first season ! The numbers are in, and the season premiere for Ricky Gervais /Science Channel’s An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List was the network’s most-watched telecast EVER in key adult/male demographics! Wowsa! The show brought in 1.3 million viewers for its Saturday night premiere, which is VERY impressive for Science Channel! Here’s what Ricky had to say about the show’s success: “It’s fantastic news. Fox is in the HOUSE ! Get it??? Last night, Fox was the big winner in the ratings, thanks to the return of House , which was the #1 telecast in primetime! It brought in 8.7 million total viewers, and a 3.1 rating in adults 18-49! Nice! Fox’s Monday night win was ALSO helped by Alcatraz , which landed 9 million viewers and a 3.0 rating for its second week on the air. ABC didn’t do too bad last night either, thanks to The Bachelor’s improved numbers! The reality show brought in 8.3 million viewers and a 2.7 rating, which is an impressive 13% jump from last week.

If you’re paying attention (like we most certainly are), you’ve noticed that there is a lot of talk in the media about Lea Michele and Chris Colfer coming back for a fourth season of Glee , but not a lot of talk about Glee actually getting renewed for a fourth season.
