Now, VH1 has sent out a press release announcing a new one-hour reality show called Aptitude Test , which comes out in 2012 and is being developed by Randy’s production company Dream Merchant 21 Entertainment. The show will explore what might have happened if high profile celebs never had their “big break in the entertainment business.” Celebs will retake a high school career aptitude test “to determine their ‘rightful calling,’” and “the celebrity will then don a disguise and undergo on-the-job training before revealing their true identity to their boss and co-workers.” Here’s what VH1’s EVP of Original Programming and Production Jeff Olde had to say about the new show: “We immediately loved this idea from Randy Jackson as it hits all the right notes for us – celebrities, real-life experiences and good storytelling.
