Bummer! Earlier today, Working Title Films released the following statement regarding progress on Bridget Jones’ Baby , which WAS just about go into production: “Reports that Hugh Grant has exited Bridget Jones’s Baby are untrue. We are still working on the script hence the delay to the start of production, but the film is going ahead as planned.” The studio claims that the film will still shoot this year, but it could be much later in the year! A source close to the movie is saying that the cast/crew have been told that “the delay could stretch into the fall.” We just hope it gets made, sooner or later! We generally prefer original movies to sequels and threequels…but this is one we’d really like to see! Especially because the original cast will be back! What do U think? Will the next Bridget Jones movie start production this year???
