The actor-turned-rapper-turned-fake-documentary-subject-turned-bearded-homeless-man-turned-actor again is in talks to star in director Paul Thomas Anderson ’s next drama that’s loosely based on the founding of Scientology. The film, referred to as The Master — although officially untitled — focuses on the story of a charismatic leader named Lancaster Dodd who creates a new religion in the 1950s.

Ruh-roh! Another female employee who worked on Casey Affleck’s upcoming documentary I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix is claiming that Casey sexually harassed her by climbing into bed with her and groping her as she slept! EWW! The accuser, Magdalena Gorka, is suing the actor for $2.25 million, saying that Casey allegedly engaged in harassing behavior and refused to pay her when she quit the project. Gorka says that she was the only female employee working on the film and while in production, the crew stayed at Joaquin Phoenix’s apartment instead of a hotel. She slept in Phoenix’s bedroom while he slept on the couch.

With scenes of Joaquin snorting cocaine, ordering call girls, having oral sex with a publicist, and abusing his assistants have studios perplexed on not only how to market the film, but also whether or not Joaquin is playing an elaborate joke on his audience or just merely showing his true colors. The movie, which is directed by Casey Affleck who is married to Joaquin’s sister Summer , is said to include male frontal nudity and even a scene where someone defecates on Joaquin while he’s sleeping

We knew it was too good to be true! Walk the Line actor turned bearded rapper/performance artist/whatever the eff that was last spring Joaquin Phoenix will not be coming out of retirement to play Edgar Allen Poe ! Last week, Resul Pookutty , who was responsible for the sound design in Slumdog Millionaire , told an Indian newspaper that Phoenix has signed on to play the poet in a new movie, but the rumor has been squashed by Joaquin’s rep!
