Why people would just have $100 k in jewelry laying around outside of a safe or lockbox or something is beyond us, but the jewels were his wife’s, and the culprit has since been snagged! Here’s the skinny : 21-year-old Nicholsa Tracy was arrested on Wednesday — after he allegedly tripped a burglar alarm in a neighboring house … the latest in several homes the man is accused of pillaging. All told, Tracy was charged with FOUR counts of third-degree burglary and three counts of second-degree theft — after allegedly breaking into four separate homes … and stealing more than $500,000 worth of bling.

We reported earlier that Paris Hilton was being sued by an insurance company for allegedly not returning $60,000 in jewelry she had borrowed from Damiani Jewelers back in 2007, which was then stolen by the Bling Ring. The company seems to think that authorities recovered the pieces and returned them to the heiress, who then still held onto them. However, Paris recently opened up about the legal issue, and claimed that the Bling Ring actually pawned a lot of the real items off! She explained: “[The Burglar Bunch] pawned everything that was real…they only gave me back the costume stuff.” Wow

He bestowed about her an abundance of marvelous jewelry, but it was soon discovered he was a crook and he’d stolen all his extravagant gifts! (It was like a moment right out of Dynasty !) Anyway, these stolen jewels will now go up for auction later this month, with the profits used to compensate the victims of Follieri’s crimes. Perhaps she’ll do a bit of bidding herself.
