That’s right guys, Wolverine himself says that the movie is back on track and scheduled to start shooting in October! After Darren Aronofsky dropped out as director, and natural disasters ravaged Japan (the desired shooting location) it looked like Fox’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine sequel might be delayed for quite some time. After an extensive director search, James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma) was hired to helm the project.

What do you do when production of your upcoming superhero movie is postponed? Well, if you’re Hugh Jackman , you perform in a two-week musical revue in San Francisco! LOLz! That’s right, now that Darren Aronofsky has dropped out of directing The Wolverine , Hugh has scheduled dates at the Curran Theatre starting May 3rd, called Hugh Jackman In Performance At The Curran Theatre , which will feature the actor singing his favorite songs from Broadway, as well as Hollywood musicals! Oh, man! This is equal parts RIDICULOUS and AWESOME! Knowing him and his experience in the theater, we expect that he’s going to put on a pretty rad show, with lots of funny little asides to the audience and whatnot! We’ll miss the adamantiumn claws popping out of his hands, but frankly, we’re happy that he’ll be doing this to hold his fans over until producers figure out what to do with that movie and production resumes! One of the best posters of the year…if not the best! The poster for Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan is absolutely gorgeous, as if we needed yet another reason to be excited about this film. Critics are already raving about Natalie Portman’s performance. Definitely seems like this film could be primed to win some awards this year
