We hate to say it, but this show is attracting some pretty impressive talent! Charlie Sheen ’s new comedy, Anger Management , is well into casting, and it appears that Selma Blair and former Dexter star Julie Benz are in negotiations to play the two female leads! As we’ve reported, the recovering warlock will play an ex-baseball player with anger issues treating others for the same as a therapist, and now, Selma will be taking on the role as a counselor, and Benz will play his ex-wife! Nice! They’re both pretty solid actresses, and we think that they could bring a lot to the roles! But we can’t help but wonder how true-to-life they’re going to make the ex role! Don’t worry, Cougar Town fans! Just because the comedy was benched midseason, ABC president Paul Lee announced during the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour that it will most likely be back in March - on a new night with our other fave Happy Endings ! He explains: “The reality is I think Cougar Town is having one of its best [seasons]. We haven’t yet landed on where it’s going to go, but it’s tentatively in there for March. We’re going to give it a good launching pad… We will be [announcing a premiere date] in a couple weeks.” Nice! We definitely don’t want to see it delayed any further! Here’s hoping the shittier of the new series premiering mid-season get canned quickly and make room for it on the schedule! Fingers crossed!
